Affixed on the wall to the left of the entrance door of the town hall.


Plaque

A blue metal plaque, inscribed in French and English text in white lettering. It also features the town location on a map and has the printed images of the Lapalud coat of arms, crossed flags of the Union Jack and the US, and the 3rd Division insignia. The plaque commemorates the town liberation on August 26, 1944 by the 3rd Infantry US Division and was dedicated on the 70th anniversary of the town's liberation.
