Inside the alcove on the north side of historic Hangar 4. Battle of Britain (Building 79).


Marker

A tapering plinth forming part of an unknown structure with two steps on top. Only one side has an inscription written in English in grey lettering. Major Kennedy was a chaplain based at Quadron Hall who was killed while trying to rescue the crew of a crashed Halifax.
