A brass inscribed plaque with the profile of a US soldier wearing the patch of the 2nd Infantry Division; the plaque is attached to a gray stone about 5 feet tall.
The monument remembers the liberation of the town of Vejprnice by the 2nd Infantry Division on May 3, 1945.
Monument Text:
The text on the plaque is written in Czech and reads:
Na památku osvobození Vejprnic americkou armádou 3.5. 1945. Vdecní obcané."
The translation is:
To commemorate the liberation Vejprnice U.S. Army on May 3 1945th. Grateful citizens. "
