Details:

Affixed on the west side of the gate’s arch, placed at the top of the 3^rd Infantry Division plaque.

Plaque A rectangular plaque inscribed in French text with gold-leaf lettering. The plaque commemorates the town’s liberation from German forces on August 26, 1944. Mornas was liberated together with Avignon, Mondragon, and Bollčne on that day.
