A small inscribed marble flat headstone.

 

The headstone remembers the crew of the B-24 “Miss Fortune” (42-73138) that crashed on the nearby Dubec Hill; the crew minus one died in the crash.  The crew was buried at this site until their remains were repatriated to the United States.

SSgt. Rexford H. Rhodes, Nose Gunner

The fallen crew members were interred together on June 16, 1950, at Jefferson Barracks St. Louis,MO in SECTION 84 SITE 148
