On the south side of the street. The memorial was placed on the left hand side next to the Resistance Fighters monument.


Plaque

A blue rectangular plaque mounted on small free-standing concrete stele. The plaque is inscribed in French and English text with white lettering. The Vaison-la-Romaine coat of arms, French flag, US flag, and the 3rd Infantry Division insignia are printed on the top of the plaque, followed by the commemoration message. The plaque is a tribute to the 3rd Division of the US for their contribution to liberate the town against the enemies.
