A flag attached on a wooden pole and a small plaque on its left side. The plaque is printed in English and framed. The OSS was the forerunner of the CIA and operated from nearby locations during World War II.

This U S Flag with 48 stars was

presented to St John the Baptist

Church after World War II in memory

of those US Servicemen who died on

operations, having trained for the

Office of Strategic Services, forerunner

of the CIA, at Walhampton House and

Elmers Court
