Located in the chancel, the southeast window near the main altar.


Commemorative Object

A three-light window, the center window depicting insignia of the 8th USAAF, and the two outer windows silhouettes of a Mustang and a Thunderbolt. A plaque below the center light could be seen bearing the dedication message. The memorial window was dedicated on 16th May 1993 to commemorate the men of the 355th Fighter Group of the USA Air Force, who were stationed in the village during the 1939-1945 War. It was both made and given by John Dobbertin of Woodstock, Illinois, and includes British and German glass. The stonework was repaired with funds from the Group and the Friends of St. Catherine's.

This commemorative window was dedicated in May 1993 in memory of the men of the 355th Fighter group of the USAAF who were stationed in the village during the 1939-1945 War. The window was made and given by John Dobbertin of Woodstock, Illinois, United States of America.
