Private Thomas Moloney was killed in action on November 19, 1944 while serving in the 406th Infantry Regiment of the 102nd Infantry Division "The Ozarks". He was killed while the 406th Infnatry Regiment supported the 2nd Armored Division attack on Gereonsweiler, Germany, duding the Roer River operations.
