Monument

A white, headstone-style monument containing a commemoration message for 2Lt Dupont. It is written in French in engraved lettering. Below the message is a leaf relief. On June 25, 1944, 2Lt Dupont’s P-47 crashed at Escorpain, near Brezoilles. He was killed in the crash and was temporarily buried here before being transferred to the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-Sur-Mer, France.
