Isolated Burial


A military white marble headstone for SSgt George Lewis Lincoln, tail gunner of the B-17 "Slightly Dangerous" #42-3293. He was one of the casualties of the 10-man crew when their plane was hit by flak and crashed at La Chapelle-Champigny on September 6, 1943.


He is buried next to his fellow four crewman.
