Thank You America & 16th Armored Division Monument
Details:
In the center of the square at the SE corner of the intersection of Klatovská Boulevard and Americká Street in Pilsen Monument Two tall stone steles with gold leaf inscription. The one on the left bears the insignia of the US Army while the one on the right show the Czech national insignia. There is a short rectangular stone in between the two honoring the men of the 16th Armored Division who liberated the town.

RIGHT stele: DÍKY AMERIKO! DNE 6.KVĚTNA 1945 MĚSTO PLZEŇ BYLO OSVOBOZENO AMERICKOU ARMÁDOU
CENTER stone: “ 6. V. 1945 THE MEN OF THE SIXTEENTH ARMORED DIVISION WE’LL NEVER FORGET NIKDY NEZAPOMENEME 6.V. 1990”
