Charles E. Parmelee Stele

If facing the park, this memorial is the stele on the left. It is the shorter and squarer of the two.   Monument The stele is dedicated to 2nd Lt. Charles E. Parmelee, who died in a plane crash on September 10th, 1944. The monument is a fieldstone with a bronze plaque containing text in both English and Luxembourgish.
