LTC Peter Dewey Plaque

On the front side of the monument du mort, the plaque is the third plaque from the top.  Plaque The plaque remembers LTC Peter Dewey who was mistaken as a French officer and was killed by Viet Minh troops while working for the US Office of Strategic Services shortly after World War II ended.
