When Clement Osos was born in May 1893 in Michigan City, Indiana, his father, Andrew, was 39 and his mother, Augusta, was 37. He had four brothers and two sisters. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company E, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 20, 1918 (at the age of 24) in France and is now buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, La Porte County, Indiana, USA.
