When Eli Bouley was born on June 9, 1883, in Nashua, New Hampshire, his father, Alexander, was 49 and his mother, Nancy, was 26. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company H, 28th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 21, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France. His name is inscribed on the Buzancy monument as a Mechanic.
