Albert A. Strachota was born on may 26, 1896. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company H, 28th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 18, 1918 (at the age of 22) and is now buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau, Marathon County, Wisconsin, USA. His headstone shows he is a Private First Class.
