When Felix Krajewski was born in 1898 in Poland, his father, Antoni, was 43 and his mother, Cornelia, was 43. He entered the military service in New York and served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Corporal in Company D, 2nd Machine Gun Battalion, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 19, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France. His name is commemorated on the Buzancy monument but his surname is incribed as Kragewski.
