When Clarence Hall Everingham was born on March 27, 1893, in California, his father, Luther, was 30 and his mother, Jennie, was 24. He had two sisters. Clarence worked for a furniture company before joining the Army. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company F, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on October 8, 1918 (at the age of 25) in France and is now buried in Angelus Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, USA.
