Al H. Stallings was born in July 1886 in Mississippi. His parents were Sidney Floyd and Frances E. Wells Stallings. He entered the military service in Louisiana and served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Sergeant in Company A, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on October 3, 1918 and is now buried in Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, France.
