                            When James Brian Frizzell was born on June 5, 1896, in Farwell, Michigan, his father, Jerome, was 50 and his mother, Euphemia, was 40. He enlisted in 1918 and remained in Camp Caster until July when he went overseas. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company B, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on October 8, 1918 in France at the age of 22 and is now buried in Surrey Township Cemetery, Farwell, Clare County, Michigan, USA.
