Allard Kent was born on January 31, 1895 in Scioto County, Ohio. He enlisted in the Army on May 30, 1918 and served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company E, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on October 6, 1918 in France at the age of 23 and is now buried in C M Cemetery, Oak Hill, Jackson County, Ohio, USA.
