Lee A. Dorwart was born in October 1889 in Pennsylvania. He was the son of Alfred J. Dorwart and Malinda Dorwart. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in the 319th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on November 2, 1918 in France at the age of 29 and is now buried in Shenango Valley Cemetery, Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, USA.
