Walter Moyer Godshall was born on October 17, 1892. He was the son of Jonas Detweiler Godshall and Amanda Moyer Godshall. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Lieutenant in Company B, 320th Machine Gun Battalion, 82nd Division. He was Killed in Action on October 19, 1918 in Argonne Forest, France at the age of 26 and is now buried in Saint Stephens UCC Cemetery, Perkasie, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA.
