Chester L. Mullen, aged 22, was born on August 17, 1922 in Morgan City, Leflore County, Mississippi. He was the son of Cary Lafayette Mullen and Annis Crosby Mullen. Chester served in the 363rd Infantry, 91st Infantry Division as a Private during World War II. He died on October 18, 1944 during the battle in the area of Ponzalla, Italy and is now buried in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Washington County, Mississippi, USA.
