Charles E. Clark was born on March 2, 1898. He was the son of Everett Rose Clark and Bessie Agnes Clark Clark. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a in HQ Company, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on October 22, 1918 at the age of 20 and is now buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Lyme, New London County, Connecticut, USA.
