Francis Norman Wolf, aged 19, was born on August 17, 1925 in Robesonia, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Clayton Henry Wolf and Pearl Viola Stiely Wolf. He enlisted in the Army at Allentown, PA. on October 27, 1943. He was sent overseas in April of 1944 where he was a member of the 91st Division, 363rd Infantry Regiment, Company I. He was wounded on October 14th, 1944 and died October 16, 1944 of those wounds. He was buried in a military cemetery in Florence, Firenze, Toscana, Italy. In 1947 the US government began a repatriation program where deceased soldiers could be disinterred and returned to the US. He is now buried in the St. John's Hains Cemetery, Wernersville, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA.
