Billy S. Yontz, aged 22, was born on March 21, 1922. He was the son of William Stokes Yontz and Ollie Shutt Yontz. Billy served in the 363rd Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division as a Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 9, 1944 during the battle in the area of Ponzalla, Italy and is now buried in the Immanuel-New Eden Moravian God's Acre, Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina, USA.
