Henry Thomas Ross was born on August 2, 1888. After training in local camps, Lieutenant Ross embarked for overseas service and was attached to Company "C," 101st Field Battalion, Signal Corps, 26th Division. Lieutenant Ross served in the battles of Chateau-Thierry and St. Mihiel, and was killed in action by shell fire on September 26, 1918. He is now buried in Palmetto Cemetery, Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia, USA.
