Aaron Ernest Dennstedt, Jr. was born on Wimbledon, Barnes County, North Dakota. He enlisted in the Army on September 27, 1941. Aaron served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Second Lieutenant in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on June 6, 1944 during the invasion on Omaha Beach, France and but his current burial place is unknown.
