William A. �Billy� Hasty was born on April 27, 1924. He was the son of Clarence Hasty and Martha Mae Hall Hasty. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on June 15, 1944 at the age of 20 and is now buried in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, USA. There is a memorial placed for him together with others listed which is located in Rest Haven Cemetery, Sperry.
