Frank Ritchie Johnson was born on October 30, 1921. He was the son of Horace Johnson and Grace Ritchie Dryden Johnson. Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on June 6, 1944 during the invasion on Omaha Beach, France at the age of 22 and is now buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, USA.
