Erwin Siebrandt was born on September 20, 1911. He was the son of Henry William Siebrandt and Christina Katharine Wannemacher Siebrandt. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the Engineers of the 1st Infantry Division and had been thru all the African and Italian campaigns. He was Killed in Action on June 10, 1944 at the age of 32 in France and is now buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Tinley Park, Cook County, Illinois, USA.
