Leonard Hugh Snow was born on December 22, 1922 in Huntley, Goshen County, Wyoming. He was the son of Lelsie Hugh Snow and Mary Elizabeth Honeycutt Snow. Leonard served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on June 6, 1944 during the invasion on Omaha Beach, France at the age of 21 and is now buried in Valley View Cemetery, Torrington, Goshen County, Wyoming, USA.
