Charles L. Bartlett was born on November 10, 1910. He served in the 1343rd Base Unit as a First Lieutenant and Pilot of an aircraft. He died on October 10, 1944 in a non-battle incident and is now buried in the Mountain View Cemetery and Mausoleum, Altadena, Los Angeles County, California, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
