George Edmund Bradfield, aged 24, was born on March 4, 1920 in West Virginia. He served in the US Air Corps as a First Lieutenant and Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. He died on a non-battle incident in China on October 26, 1944 and is now buried in the Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Belmont County, Ohio, USA. George was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
