Ernest F. Evanson was born on October 6, 1921. He served in the US Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on November 27, 1943 at the age of 21 in India and is now buried in the Cedar Park Cemetery, Calumet Park, Cook County, Illinois, USA. He was a passenger of an aircraft at the time of his death. Ernest was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
