William A. Houston, Jr. was born on June 13, 1921. He served in the US Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant and Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. William died on November 13, 1944 at the age of 23 and is now buried in the Maplewood Cemetery, Pulaski, Giles County, Tennessee, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
