Frank B. Hunter was born on June 13, 1918. He served in the 1347th Army Air Base Unit as a Sergeant and Assistant Engineer of an aircraft during World War II. Frank died on April 16, 1945 at the age of 26 and is now buried in the Forsyth Memorial Park, Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
