Archie Kuhn was born on April 10, 1915 in Lostine, Wallowa County, Oregon. He served in the US Air Corps as a Technician 5th Grade and food dropper in an aircraft during World War II. Archie died on January 7, 1945 at the age of 29 and is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
