Burnard L. Page was born on June 12, 1917. He served in the 25th Bombardment Squadron, 40th Bombardment Group as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. Burnard died on November 11, 1944 at the age of 27 and is now buried in the Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene, Chenango County, New York, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
