Horace E. Pietsch was born on June 24, 1920. He served in the 1330th Army Air Force Base Unit as a Captain and Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. He died on June 26, 1945 at the age of 25 and is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA. CPT Pietsch was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
