Stanley J. Roney was born in 1913. He served in the US Air Corps as a Corporal and Radio Operator of an aircraft during World War II. He died on August 23, 1944 and is now buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, Summit County, Ohio, USA. Cpl Roney was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
