James C. Tew was born on June 30, 1920. He served in the 51st Fighter Group as a Lieutenant during World War II. He died on April 23, 1945 at the age of 24 and is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA. Lt Tew was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
