Glen G. Wiltbank was born on September 9, 1915. He resided in Berrien County, Michigan prior to the war. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on April 6, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Electrician and also as Married. Glen served as a Second Lieutenant and Pilot on C-47A #43-15783, 11th Combat Cargo Squadron, 3rd Combat Cargo Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

Glen "Died Of Injuries" when the C-47 he was on was shot down and crashed near Mogaung, China on June 22, 1944 during the war. He was originally interred overseas and was later repatriated in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA on December 1, 1949.

2Lt Wiltbank was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
