William Walter Bushman was born on April 23, 1901. He served in the 312th Fighter Wing as a Major during World War II. He died on August 23, 1944 at the age of 43 and is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA. He was a passenger of an aircraft at the time of his death. Maj Bushman was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
