Don Lyon was born on January 21, 1906. He served in the 14th Air Force as a Colonel during World War II. He died on April 28, 1943 at the age of 37 and is now buried in the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, San Diego County, California, USA. Col Lyon was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
