William L. Pott was born on November 25, 1920. He served in the US Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant during World War II. He died on November 10, 1944 at the age of 23 and is now buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California, USA. 2Lt Pott was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
