Lloyd Nance Riley was born on June 7, 1920 in Rochester, Strafford County, New Hampshire. He served in the 1345th Army Air Force Base Unit as a Technical Sergeant during World War II. He died on November 10, 1944 in India at the age of 24 and is now buried in the Kinney County Cemetery, Brackettville, Kinney County, Texas, USA. Tsgt Riley was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
