Albert D. Alldredge was the Radio Operator and Machine Gunner of the B-25 s/n 43-27783 6T that took off from Alesan in Corsica and flew in formation as the number 4 plane in the first box on the way to France. Just before dropping its bomb load, it was hit by flak on the left wing, between the fuselage and the motor. The plane lost the wing and was quickly engulfed in flames. The crew had no chance to escape the falling plane and all six of them perished. He is buried in the same grave with 1Lt Ottavio and 1Lt Hoschar. Albert also has a cenotaph located in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint, Genesee County, Michigan.
